EMBRACE Internship

 

The EMBRACE Center will support three graduate students from the University of Pittsburgh for a practicum experience at one of three community sites from May 5 to June 27, 2025. 

  • Allegheny County Health Department
  • Healthy Start Inc.
  • The EMBRACE ICC/4TM Study 

The internship will be approximately 25 hours a week over the 8 weeks. Each intern will be matched with a preceptor from the community site and an EMBRACE academic mentor. Interns will receive payment of $3,000.

    • Research and/or evaluation project at host site
    • EMBRACE book club and journal club
    • Personal journal prompt reflections
